The 2023 Ford Mustang continues the heritage of this legendary muscle car that's been leading the field for more than five decades. The Ford Mustang combines track-bred performance with everyday driveability for the daily commute. With six trim levels and several power options, you can tailor your Mustang's features and performance to suit your needs.
Trim Levels (Exterior)
Ford offers the 2023 Mustang in EcoBoost, EcoBoost Premium, GT, GT Premium, Mach 1, and Mach 1 Premium trim levels. EcoBoost and GT trims are available with fastback or convertible body styles, while the Mach 1 is available only as a coupe. The EcoBoost trim offers hood vents, LED headlights and signature lighting, 17-inch aluminum wheels, sequential LED taillights, and dual bright exhaust tips.
As you move up the trim levels, you'll gain features such as LED fog lights, 18- or 19-inch wheels, heated mirrors, a decklid blade spoiler, and quad exhaust tips. Premium models add pony puddle lamps. The Mach 1 has a unique grille, front and rear fascias, larger exhaust tips, and a performance rear spoiler. You can add various racing stripes and appearance packages to give the Ford Mustang your personal touch.
Engine (Power)
The 2023 Ford Mustang's engine lineup starts with a 310-horsepower 2.3-liter turbocharging engine that delivers 350 pound-feet of torque to the rear wheels. The 2.3L High Performance Package increases the output to 332 horsepower. Under the GT Fastback's hood is a 5.0-liter Ti-VCT V-8 engine delivering 450 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque. In the track-focused Mach 1, the V-8 engine gets a boost to 470 horsepower. Each engine pairs with a six-speed manual transmission or a 10-speed automatic transmission.
Performance
Whichever engine you choose, you'll be rewarded with exhilarating acceleration and thrilling performance on the track while enjoying a well-mannered and composed ride on the highway. Standard features include a limited-slip differential, line lock, and launch control. Various performance packages offer upgraded tires, brakes, suspension, and differential, while a handling package adds adaptive suspension dampers.
Interior
You'll find sporty, retro styling in the Ford Mustang's cabin, along with the latest technology. With the EcoBoost and GT trims, you get remote start, cloth upholstery, satin chrome accents, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. The infotainment system has a 4.2-inch central display screen, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and a six-speaker audio system. The instrument cluster features Track Apps to help monitor your vehicle's performance metrics.
The EcoBoost Premium trim adds simulated leather upholstery, heated and cooled power-adjustable front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, and ambient lighting. You also get an 8-inch touch screen, smartphone integration, a voice-activated navigation system, and a nine-speaker sound system. The GT Premium trim offers leather upholstery, while the Mach 1 has a customizable 12-inch digital instrument cluster and a unique white cue ball shift knob.
Safety Features
Every 2023 Ford Mustang comes standard with Ford Co-Pilot360 technology. This technology includes pre-collision assist with automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, cross-traffic warning, a lane-keeping system, and a rearview camera. You also get automatic high beams and rain-sensing wipers. Available safety features include adaptive cruise control and rear parking sensors.
