1st Annual Bucktober Fest in Perkinstown, WI

Get ready for another weekend full of live music, food, drinks, games, and more! There will be activities for all ages this weekend at the 1st annual Bucktober Fest. Happening for the first time ever, the Bucktober fest is brought to you by Medford Kiwanis and P-Town Saloon, and it's all happening right here in Perkinstown, WI. This Saturday, September 17, 2022 Start Saturday off with the UTV Poker Run at 10:30 am through the beautiful Chequamegon National Forest, this is bound to be a unique run to remember, everyone will be meetings at P-Town Saloon. After the run, the Kiwanis Food Stand will be open at 12:00pm offering hamburgers, hot dogs, brats, and sweet corn to get you re-energized after the run. Kids' games and activities will also start at noon if they need to burn more energy, another great reason to bring the family! There will be a walk-around and basket raffle, a beer garden, and even live music by Jackson Taylor and Steven Nix from 12:00-4:00 pm, and Sage from 6:00-10:00 pm. Camping over the course of the weekend is available, see more details in the poster below! The 1st annual Bucktober Fest is the first of its kind and we are looking forward to all of the fun this weekend. Bring the family, come rest, and enjoy one of the last events of September. Celebrating the Athens Fair in Athens, WI, Come out between August 18, 7:00 AM – August 21, 7:00 PM, there will be events back to back all weekend for you and the family to enjoy. The 56th Annual Colby Cheese Days in Wisconsin

The 56th annual Cheese Days are back this weekend in Colby, WI! Home of the world-famous Colby cheese. This is a weekend-long event so there will be fun, food, and drinks going from this Friday to this Sunday. Friday 15 th - Free Beer and Music Starting at 6:00 pm today, for patrons older than 21 years of age there will be free beer (until gone) courtesy of the Colby Chamber! Saturday 16 th - Run For Jamison The Colby Cheese Days Race will commence on Saturday starting with the Jamison Kampmeyer Memorial Mile and Kids Race at 8:15 am, and the 5k/10k will start at 8:45 am. This event is dedicated to the memory of Lt. Jamison Kampmeyer. Also after the run, look out for the car and ATV show, more food, and drinks will be available, as well as a bench-pressing contest! Sunday 17 th – Parade and more! On Sunday, the Colby “Real” Cheese Days Parade will be starting at noon and the line-up will be at the Colby High School. Independence Day Events near Medford, WI!

Independence Day is in full swing this weekend here in Taylor County! Everyone will be getting together across the country and here at home in Wisconsin to celebrate our great nation. more 4th of July in Perkinstown, WI Be sure to visit Perkinstown, WI for their 4th of July events in the park! The Buckfest starts on July 3rd at 5 pm and lasts till dark with fireworks happening at dusk! Expect drinks, food, and live music (with no cover charge!) On July 4th at 1 pm, there will be a D.J. in the park and the annual Independence Day parade. The Lublin Lions Club will offer cold beer! Independence day in Jumpriver, WI Jumpriver will also be having their 43rd annual July 4th celebration this year with the parade starting at 11 am, and the popular tractor pull and horseshoe pitches are occurring at noon (remember to sign up at 11:30 am!) The Kid’s Pedal Pull will also be occurring today and all of these events will be held at the Jumpriver Community Park. Food and refreshments will be available as well as a Free Fireworks Display by Big Daddy’s Fireworks starting at 10:00 pm. And the 4 th of July events this year are sponsored by the Jump River Lions! The 64 th annual Dorchester Days are finally upon us here in Dorchester, Wisconsin! Once a year our community gathers together as a testament to our long-standing sense of unity, reconnecting with both new and familiar faces to celebrate simply for the sake of family.
