1st Annual Bucktober Fest in Perkinstown, WI
Get ready for another weekend full of live music, food, drinks, games, and more! There will be activities for all ages this weekend at the 1st annual Bucktober Fest. Happening for the first time ever, the Bucktober fest is brought to you by Medford Kiwanis and P-Town Saloon, and it’s all happening right here in Perkinstown, WI.
This Saturday, September 17, 2022
Start Saturday off with the UTV Poker Run at 10:30 am through the beautiful Chequamegon National Forest, this is bound to be a unique run to remember, everyone will be meetings at P-Town Saloon. After the run, the Kiwanis Food Stand will be open at 12:00pm offering hamburgers, hot dogs, brats, and sweet corn to get you re-energized after the run. Kids’ games and activities will also start at noon if they need to burn more energy, another great reason to bring the family! There will be a walk-around and basket raffle, a beer garden, and even live music by Jackson Taylor and Steven Nix from 12:00-4:00 pm, and Sage from 6:00-10:00 pm. The 1st annual Bucktober Fest is the first of its kind and we are looking forward to all of the fun this weekend. Bring the family, come rest, and enjoy one of the last events of September. Medford Motors will be out to support our community in any way that we can, but we want to thank the P-town Saloon and Medford Kiwanis for hosting this event.
Athens Fair in Athens, Wisconsin
Celebrating the Athens Fair in Athens, WI, Come out between August 18, 7:00 AM – August 21, 7:00 PM, there will be events back to back all weekend for you and the family to enjoy. Stay the whole time or pick what days you would like to come out, we are excited to have you!
Schedule of Events!
The fun is endless this weekend; check out the horse shows, bargain days, and fireworks on Thursday! On Friday there will be a dog show, horse pull, and a tractor pull. Then on Saturday, there will be a couple more shows to visit like the Gladiolus and the Dairy performances. On Sunday, stop by the farmers market before the parade, afterwards, there will be bingo and livestock exhibits!

Medford Parkfest 2022 in Taylor County
Parkfest 2022 is in full swing here in Medford, WI on August 18th, hosted by our Chamber of Commerce and Medford Cooperative. This is a special event filled with live music, food, beverages, kids’ activities, vendors, and even swimming! The excitement will continue all day, rain or shine we will be having a good time! Parkfest is bringing in Jerrod Niemann to play at our Medford City Park.

33rd Annual Ice Age Days

Ice Age Days is a festival to celebrate the heritage of Rib Lake, WI, and its connection to the National Ice Age Trail. This event is also Rib Lake’s biggest fundraising celebration of the year. 1. Picnic Point Campground
Just like the name would suggest, Picnic Point Campground is the perfect destination to bring a meal to enjoy in the open air and sunshine. As well as making the perfect place for your next picnic, there are campsites here that let you rough it through the night, giving you the full wilderness experience. You can launch a kayak or canoe on the waterfront here, too, among other outdoor activities to partake in during your visit.
The 56th Annual Colby Cheese Days in Wisconsin
The 56th annual Cheese Days are back this weekend in Colby, WI! Home of the world-famous Colby cheese. This is a weekend-long event so there will be fun, food, and drinks going from this Friday to this Sunday. Friday 15th – Free Beer and Music
Starting at 6:00 pm today, for patrons older than 21 years of age there will be free beer (until gone) courtesy of the Colby Chamber! With food stands, the local softball tournament, Lions Bingo and live music from “Around Town” you will stay more than busy with fun and excitement.
Saturday 16th – Run For Jamison
The Colby Cheese Days Race will commence on Saturday starting with the Jamison Kampmeyer Memorial Mile and Kids Race at 8:15 am, and the 5k/10k will start at 8:45 am. This event is dedicated to the memory of Lt. Jamison Kampmeyer. Also after the run, look out for the car and ATV show, more food, and drinks will be available, as well as a bench-pressing contest!
Sunday 17th – Parade and more!
On Sunday, the Colby “Real” Cheese Days Parade will be starting at noon and the line-up will be at the Colby High School. The line-up is first come first serve. The route will go down to West Adams Street, take a right, then turn left onto 3rd Street and end on Broadway. When the parade passes, be on the lookout for your local Ford dealership, Medford Motors! Following the parade, you can watch the World Championship Cheese Curd Throw, the Farm Tractor Pull, the Colby Show Choir, and much more.

Bluegrass Festival in the Medford Area
The bluegrass festival “Grass On The Black” is back this summer in the Medford, WI area this weekend on July 9th and 10th! Local restaurants and food trucks will be here with your favorite beverages and foods, while live music is played throughout the day, come dance the night away! Stay overnight on Saturday through the available river campsites and wake up on Sunday to get breakfast and start your day making more great memories and listening to even more live music!

Independence Day is in full swing this weekend here in Taylor County! Everyone will be getting together across the country and here at home in Wisconsin to celebrate our great nation.
The 64th Annual Dorchester Days
The 64th annual Dorchester Days are finally upon us here in Dorchester, Wisconsin! Once a year our community gathers together as a testament to our long-standing sense of unity, reconnecting with both new and familiar faces to celebrate simply for the sake of family. Whether you’re local to Clark and Marathon counties or visiting from out of town, we encourage everyone to come out for an extended weekend filled with endless food and fun!
Thursday
Start your fun before the crowd arrives! To kick off the early weekend with some family fun, you can expect reduced Carnival ticket prices on Thursday from 5:00-9:00pm! You can also dive headfirst into the food stand, which will be open from 6:00-9:00pm—just in time for dinner! And don’t forget to stop by the beer tent, where beers start at just $1.00!
Friday
Only on Friday can you witness the highly anticipated Championship Tractor Pulling, a Dorchester essential and a must-see for any who haven’t witnessed it. Additionally, live music played by Boogie And The Yo-Yoz will have the whole family dancing the night away!
Saturday
Get ready to keep the excitement going on Saturday morning for the 1st Annual Bloody Mary 5k run/walk/crawl and the 20th Annual Car & Truck show! There will also be a Volleyball Tournament held at the park starting at noon. Live music by the stray cats will begin at 3:00pm and go until 7:00pm, followed by live music by Chris Kroeze beginning at 8:00pm until 9:30pm. Truck Pulls begin at 5:00pm, featuring the Mid-State Pullers of Wisconsin!
Sunday
On Sunday you won’t want to miss out on the charcoal chicken dinner, which starts as early as 10:30am and keeps goin’ ‘til it’s gone! Carry-out will also be available if you feel like checking out a little early. Also be sure to experience the parade that starts at 1:00pm and look out for your favorite local business and organizations participating, as we are so excited to be apart of it here at Medford Motors!
